I cannot believe I am celebrating my first blogaversary! How has it been one year already?! In honor of my one year, let’s do a re-cap. It may not be of any interest to you, but I will definitely look back on this in the future.
Adulting
First thing first, can I get a round of applause for adulting for a year?
Friendships
Although I am separated from all of my college friends, I have made and have met so many amazing people through social groups and organizations. I have written a blog post on this subject alone, but I want to give a big shout out to Dani Austin, one of my favorite bloggers for starting the Sassy Club and giving me my Houston peeps. If you are a recent college graduate or an adult looking to make new friends, I highly encourage getting involved in social groups/networks.
Work
Since graduation, I have had two positions and I can honestly say I have learned SO much. I love what I do, and couldn’t be happier to work with such a talented team.
The C Word
Three sentences: It came. We saw. She conquered!
My mother’s fight with breast cancer is over, and we are extremely blessed. GOD IS SO GOOD Y’ALL!
Future
It’s been a slow start but things can only get better. Thanks for sticking with me this far. Cheers to one year!
