Well, it’s been a month of being confined to our homes, and I have been meaning to update the blog on what I have been up too!
Being an influencer during this time is tough because a lot of people are going through some really tough times. Our communities are suffering. Jobs are being lost, people are dying, and everything is closed. I would normally share outfits and sales pushing links and products to get a commission, but it feels weird for me to do that when others are struggling, but the economy must keep going. I am very fortunate to still have a job and to be able to work full time during this crisis in an essential business/industry.
So instead of pushing content of all the sales going on, I have been doing a few new hobbies while not at work.
TikTok
Yes, you read that right. I made a TikTok for fun and the next thing you know one of my videos goes viral (as of today it has over 100K views). You can follow me by clicking HERE!
Painting
I used to paint when I was younger. In fact, I used to take private lessons every day after school. I recently found some of my art supplies while I was purging my room and decided to see if I still have my skills.
Cooking & Baking
This isn’t a new hobby for me, because I love to cook and bake, but I have been trying out a lot of new recipes
LOTS of Walks with the Pups
Not sure if the dogs are loving the family being home 24/7 or not, but I like to think they do.
Spending time with my Fam
I am lucky that I live at home especially during these times. Even though we have our moments of being stuck with them indoors for a month, it’s been great. There is never a dull moment in my family, and the laughs have been nonstop.
I hope everyone is doing good and handling the situation the best they can. Remember to be nice to others and spread joy.
